Kids First Turkey Trot 5k – November 28, 2015 – Waterfront Park – Elizabeth City NC

Give thanks on the Saturday after Thanksgiving by running for a great cause, the Kids First Child Abuse Treatment Center. This race has been a tradition in Elizabeth City since 2011.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

All proceeds from this event will benefit Kids First, Inc. Child Abuse Treatment Center, a nonprofit agency which serves over 200 abused children each year in Northeastern North Carolina. Kids First provides therapy services, forensic interviews, medical evaluations, and advocacy services for children who have been victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, or witness to domestic violence. Our mission is to provide “Help, Healing, & Hope” to these children at our child-friendly center located in Elizabeth City.
