Deck the Hall 5k + 2k Trail Race – December 5, 2015 – Heathwood Hall – Columbia, SC

Deck the Hall is a holiday race that’s fun for the whole family! There will be races, games, costume contests, and more. Awards will be given to overall male and female winners, as well as the top three in each category and age group. Deck the Hall 2015 will benefit Winston’s Wish and Rural Mission, Inc.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The Events/Course:
5K: Run on the wide trails of Heathwood Hall’s official 5K cross country course. Flat, hardpacked
dirt and tree-lined course.
2K: One loop around the cross country course and another lap around two football fields to the
official Strictly Running finish line.
Kids race on track! (400 meters long)
Run on Heathwood Hall’s beautiful all-weather track! Children can run alone or with a parent or
student volunteer! Part of the Reindeer Games!

Reindeer Games:
After children have completed their race, they will enjoy the Reindeer Games complete with a
variety of holiday related stations. Children can make and decorate a Christmas ornament and
cookies; receive prizes at each station, just to name a few. Children will complete the Reindeer
Games while parents are racing the 5K.

Take pictures with Santa!
Children – of all ages – can take pictures with Santa! Take one with the whole family!
