Reindeer Run 5k – December 12, 2015 – Southend Brewery – Charleston, SC

Nothing says Christmas Cheer than joining fellow runners for a Reindeer Run in Charleston. There are sure to be costumes, beverages, and great live music. There is a party and after party at Southend Brewery downtown and proceeds go to a great cause. Note that this race was moved to December 12.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Proceeds from the Reindeer Run are split between MUSC Children’s Hospital and the Charitable Society of Charleston. 80% of the funds go to the MUSC Children’s Hospital and 20% go to the Charitable Society of Charleston’s endowment. This endowment provides grants and donations to local non-profit organizations which benefit both children and elderly residents of the Lowcountry.

The Reindeer Run is a non-profit event planned and produced by the Charitable Society of Charleston (CSC). CSC is a dedicated group of young professionals who are committed to providing volunteer service and funds to local non-profit organizations that help individuals in our community. It is the mission of CSC to primarily serve, through volunteer hours and charitable donations, organizations that serve underprivileged children, the elderly, and individuals with special needs, along with community wellness. To date, CSC has donated over $950,000 to local charities.
