Old Village Harbor 5k – November 14, 2015 – Alhambra Hall – Mount Pleasant SC

This event has been around since the year 2000 and will give you a tour of the Old Village of Mount Pleasant. It is the only footrace located in the Old Village, so if you are a runner who likes to rack up races in unique locations, this is a must-run.

Come join us for the only 5k road race located in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant, SC. Enjoy yourself down the beautiful and scenic streets of The Old Village located in the heart of Mount Pleasant. You will discover a past full of colonial architectural design and wonderful harbor views, which will take you back to the Old Village, Mount Pleasant.

This year, the Town of Mount Pleasant Recreation Department is teaming up with TimingInc.com again to help with the race management and event production. Also, the event will have a USATF Certified course with clearly marked mile markers and a clearly marked course. The OVH 5k event is also one of the few dog and stroller friendly 5k races.

Returning for his 14th year is our featured artist Tate Nation. Tate has provided prints for the race winners in all but one year since the inception of this event. We are excited to have him on board again this year and hopefully for years to come.

The race starts and finishes at the historic Alhambra Hall overlooking the Charleston harbor. After the race stay for a while and relax with family and friends enjoying the after party with music and refreshments. There will be raffles and awards shortly follwing the conclusion of the race.
