RUN FOR HAY 5K – NOVEMBER 14, 2015 – DOGWOOD TERRACE STABLES – MARIETTA, SC

This time of year is perfect for scenic drives and scenic runs. This out and back 5k race takes place on a beautiful country road. Proceeds go toward buying hay and grain for rescue horses. These gorgeous animals will cheer you on from the stables as you run by.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Dogwood Terrace Stables is a very special place where horses are rescued and those same horses help rescue people too. Many of our more than 30 horses come from hopeless situations of neglect and abuse, and are lovingly rehabilitated by children and volunteers who in turn find joy, sense of purpose and a lifetime bond. Supporting this many horses with hay, grain, vet & farrier care is expensive. And sustaining the Barn and riding programs for the children, many who require financial help to participate, add to the cost of keeping the Red Barn open. We had a great time last year so please come out and support our second annual 5K!
