Fall Fest 5K – November 7, 2015 – Baxter Village – Ft Mill, SC

The leaves are changing and the days are getting shorter. All the more reason to get outside and enjoy the crisp weather. This fun run starts and ends in the quaint Baxter Village.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Fort Mill Running Club will support children by donating race proceeds to the Children’s Attention Home; which provides emergency shelter for abused, neglected, and abandoned children of South Carolina and the Palmetto School; a K-8 school that integrates the arts to help students improve learning and heal from their Life’s trauma and situation; both are located in Rock Hill, S.C.

In addition, proceeds from the run will fund a collenge scholorship, given to a York County High School Senior Runner. The details of the scholarship are listed on the Fort Mill Running Club website.

All the proceeds from the Baxter Fall Festival 5K race will be dedicated to these three causes. The 5K route begins on Market Street in downtown Baxter Village. The course will take you through the rolling hills of Baxter Village and through the tunnel under Sutton Road the to finish on Market Street.
