Grist Mill 5k – November 7, 2015 – Murray’s Mill – Catawba NC

This looks like a scenic race through a historic location in Catawba, NC. A cross country course like this one is a great change from the plethora of road races that exist without being as strenuous as most trail races.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The Grist Mill 5K at the Historic Murray’s Mill is an off-road course utilized by local high school cross country teams for local meets. This course consists of mostly non-technical trails, with a few footbridges that cross the surrounding waterways and leads you by the placid pond as it slips over a mill dam, while the 28’ waterwheel of this National Register Historic Site makes its slow way round.

This Event is being hosted by the Historical Association of Catawba County this historical race venue is also home to the Harvest Folk Festival. As a RunTimeRaces produced event, be assured this 5K will be well organized and leave you with an Awesome Race Experience.
