HOP 10k + 5k – October 10, 2015 – Martha’s Park – Morganton NC

H.O.P. stands for Help Our Project, as this race is dedicated to funding various projects of the Morganton Service League, including park renovation, playground construction, and food donations to local charities. The race starts and finishes at Martha’s Park in downtown Morganton, which is one of the parks that the Morganton Service League helped to renovate in 2004.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Our proceeds have benefited the parks of Burke County for the past 14 years and will do so again this year, continuing our tradition of supporting the community projects of the MSL. Donations are collected on race day to benefit a local charity. This year we are collecting non-perishable food items to donate to Burke United Christian Ministries. Every item donated will be an entry into a raffle for a special prize! The raffle will take place at the end of the awards presentation and you must be present to win.
