Turkey Trot 5k – November 21, 2015 – Apex Community Park – Apex NC

This is the 17th annual Apex Turkey Trot 5k. Taking place on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, it offers you the opportunity to get your trot in before the holiday (or double up!). As this is a long-standing event, it should be well-organized and executed.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Last year over 390 runners registered as competitive entrants in this event while an equal number ran the race as recreational entrants. Austin Hughes won the race in a course-record 16:20. Christina Goudreau won the women’s title in 19:16. Brenna Liming owns the women’s mark of 18:17 set in 2010. The event is limited to 600 entrants and usually closes out a month before the race.
