A 5k run that is part of Community Strong Day in downtown Morganton. Community Strong Day is sponsored by Art 4 a Purpose, a nonprofit organization that strives to empower children and communities to recognize seek help when encountering abusive situations.

A WORTHY 5k RUN to STOMP OUT CHILD ABUSE. Saturday October 3, 2015 @ 9 am. Chip Timed, Open Road Course. Starting line @ 115 East Meeting Street— Downtown Morganton NC On the Old Courthouse Square. Package Pickup/last minute registers @7—8:30 am 10/03/15. T-Shirt cut off 9/18/15. Early Pack pickup TBD. GET STOMPING—KIDS NEED YOUR HELP!!
