A great fall half marathon with a legendary post-race breakfast feast. It’s described as a flat, scenic mountain course and winds through Tryon’s famous horse country. The race benefits the Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry.
FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS
The out-and-back course will begin on Harmon Field Rd. making a left onto Hwy 108 and right onto Clarence Rhodes Road, then to Scriven Road, and down River Road and there will be a turnaround to follow the course back to 108. The course will go back LEFT onto Hwy 108 then right onto Howard Gap and enter Harmon Field via the “tomato fields” trail (Cane Brake) on the left to finish at the track. Course is 25% pavement and 75% packed dirt/gravel.
We are removing the “medium hill” and participants will enjoy a flat, downhill, then flat finish at scenic Harmon Field!
