Family friendly race (strollers are welcome)in Highlands. The organizers do mention this can be challenging for experienced runners. This 5k is organized by the Rotary Club of Highlands.
FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS
Race is on August 22nd starting at 6PM at the Kelsey Hutchinson Park. The course is undulating, beginners or walkers will find it friendly, yet the faster runners will be challenged. Glow sticks for the kids. Rarely above 80 degrees in summer. Always cool in the evening. Get out of the heat! This is your opportunity to come to “cool” Highlands NC and run on the plateau.
