Carry Your Cross 5k – April 4, 2015 – Pole Creek Baptist Church – Candler NC
I believe this is the fifth running of this Easter weekend event with a unique twist:
You actually carry a 4ft length of 2×4 lumber across your back for the final 2/10 of a mile uphill! Be careful when passing other runners while carrying your cross. When the race is over, do not drop your cross in the finish line area and please be cautious of the volunteers at timing station. Please make your mark on our race by signing your cross with the markers provided. You may choose to write your name, date, finish time, prayers, praises or encouraging words for next years runners!
