Pennies for Pigs 5k – March 28, 2015 – Macedonia United Methodist Church – Troy NC

Pennies for Pigs is a mission project started six years ago by the youth of Macedonia United Methodist Church in the Abner Community. All proceeds from the 3rd Annual Pennies for Pigs 5K will be divided between “Faith in Vision”, a local non-profit based out of Seagrove, NC that sponsors needy children at Christmas in the three counties of Montgomery, Randolph and Moore and “Imagine No Malaria”, a foreign mission of the North Carolina UMC, which hopes to raise $1 million to purchase mosquito nets for those living in Africa, affected by Malaria.
