Tobacco Road Marathon + Half Marathon – March 15, 2015 – Cary NC
RACE HIGHLIGHTS
Both races start at 7 AM.
Course Highlights Half and Full Marathon will be the same course for 2.5 miles to and from the American Tobacco Trail (ATT) Full Marathon has 21 miles on the ATT and the half has 8 miles on the ATT Boston Qualifier
Packet pickup is available at the pre-race Expo, held the Friday and Saturday before the race. On-site registration for the full marathon will be avaialble at the Expo if available. The half-marathon is now sold out.
The Expo will be held at our host hotel, the Embassy Suites of Cary, located at 201 Harrison Oaks Blvd., Cary, NC 27513.
Come join us after the race for celebration at the Natty Greene’s Beer Garden where you can enjoy a brew, listen to some music, and revel in your accomplishment!
FOCUS ON CHARITIES
Since the first running of the Tobacco Road Marathon in March 2010, we’ve been dedicated to providing the most support of our charities by keeping our race truly a ‘not-for-profit’ event. The TRM weekend is produced by an all-volunteer staff and 100 percent of proceeds from registrations and sponsorship go to our outstanding charities. We are honored to partner with them and have many of their employees, friends, and family at our race as runners and volunteers.
As we approach our 6th event weekend in 2015, we will surpass the one half million dollar milestone ($500,000) in cumulative giving since our inception. Thank you to our sponsors and runners for making such generous giving possible.
