Join your friends and the Durham community for the third annual Florence Forth Road Race.
Florence Forth is a competitive 10K road race and a 5K run/walk through Durham’s historic neighborhoods with start / finish line on Ninth Street. Both courses are certified and chip timed. Cash prizes for 10K winners. Hand crafted awards, race tech-t shirts, and post-race celebration. All for a great cause.
The race is a fundraising event to benefit the Autoimmune Encephalitis Alliance, a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to raising awareness, educating doctors and improving clinical care so that no one faces autoimmune encephalitis (AE) alone. Last year’s event raised $40,000, allowing the AE Alliance to host the first International Symposium on AE. With this year’s proceeds, the AE Alliance will expand efforts to educate the medical community about AE and will host the second annual International Symposium on AE.
