Tree Church 5k Trail Race – February 28, 2015 – Laurel Hill Park – Mt Pleasant SC

Run a Trail to Build a Church in Marsabit Kenya. In 2014 Christ Church raised money to build a church building for the people of the Game Community of Marsabit, Kenya. This community used to worship under a beautiful Acacia tree which was in danger of being washed away by a seasonal river. Our Race proceeds built a new Church which was consecrated on Jan 28th, 2015. This year in 2015, we’re doing it again!! The Trail Run is being held at Charleston County’s new Laurel Hill Park in Mount Pleasant on Sat, Feb 28th. All of the proceeds will go directly to build a church for another Community in the Marsabit diocese of Northern Kenya. Prizes for overall and age group winners.
