A nice 5k event that benefits the Miracle League of Wilmington North Carolina.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Miracles in Motion Run, Walk, and Roll 5K & 1 Mile Race on Saturday, February 28. This race is unlike any other in the city. Presented by the ACCESS of Wilmington, the race offers a 5K Run and Fitness Walk at Olsen Park, as well as a 1 Mile course through the park that is fully accessible to persons in wheelchairs and walkers.

ABOUT THE CAUSE

Proceeds from the Miracles in Motion Run, Walk, and Roll 5k and 1k will benefit The Miracle League of Wilmington. The Miracle League of Wilmington is an accessible and inclusive sport league for children and adults with special needs. The Miracle League baseball program plays on the BRAX Stadium PPD Miracle Field located at 5510 Olsen Park Lane in Wilmington, NC. The overall 2.2million dollar project was truly a miracle thanks to generous individual, corporate, and foundation donors. The Kiwanis Miracle Playground sits adjacent to the Miracle Field, and is the largest wheelchair accessible playground in North Carolina.
