A four mile race with a brief stop in the middle to wold down a dozen donuts. Sounds like a dare.
FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS
From an idyllic Campus setting, to a beautiful downtown Park:
- 4 miles
- 12 doughnuts
- 1 hour
That is the Challenge!
Join us the last weekend in February for the season’s most exciting challenge! The inaugural Krispy Kreme Race-Run 4 Reading.
The run consists of a 4 mile loop beginning and ending at Winthrop University with a brief stop in the new downtown Rock Hill Fountain Park, where participants will be challenged to down a dozen donuts as fast as they can before racing back to the finish line.
Don’t worry if you weren’t blessed with an iron stomach, we are also offering a casual run that gets you in on all the action but spares you the sugar high. There will be a 1 mile Campus Fun Walk and a Kidz Fun Zone. Strollers, Children, and Families are all welcome.
It’s all for a good cause too! Proceeds from the race benefit The Early Learning Partnership of York County, a nonprofit organization established to develop and promote programs that support the health and academic readiness of children ages five and under in York County, South Carolina.
Pets are not permitted.
The Krispy Kreme Race is not operated by Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation or its affiliates.

Race starts at 8 AM. Don’t worry about breakfast or post race food. You’ll eat 12 donuts during the race.
