It’s that time of year again, folks! Join us for this year’s Conquer A Cove 5k anniversary! It’s the 15th anniversary of the 5k race and we are hoping that you will participate!
Who: You, your family, and your friends are all invited and encouraged to participate in this year’s 15th anniversary Conquer A Cove 5k race!
What: Conquer a Cove 5k race and 5k health walk, health fair, and kids’ activities, including a bouncy house!
When: April 19th, 2015. The race begins at 2:00 PM. Registration begins at 12:30 and race activities are from 1 to 4:00 PM.
Where: 75 Academy Drive; Candler, NC 28715. The race events will take place in the community center, in front of the Pisgah Seventh-Day Adventist church, on the Mount Pisgah Academy school campus, on Pisgah Valley Retirement Community property, and on Holcombe Cove Road.
Why: Conquer A Cove 5k race is an annual event that allows the Hope Chest for Women, Inc. to assist women of Western North Carolina who have been diagnosed with breast or gynecologic cancer who experience financial difficulty due to the cost of treatment. By participating in the race, these ladies could receive help with getting life-sustaining medications and supplements, along with other types of support they may need.
