MESSA 8k for H2O – February 14, 2015 – Folly Beach Pier – Folly Beach SC

The Thirteenth Annual Master of Environmental Studies Student Association (MESSA) 8K for H2O is an 8K Run to promote improved water quality in the Charleston area. The 2015 race will benefit the local organization Charleston Waterkeeper!

RACE DETAILS

All race events, start and finish line will be near the Folly Beach Fishing pier at 101 E. Arctic Ave. Race monitors will be at each turn. The course is USATF certified. Strollers Welcome! Top overall M/F winners will be awarded. Age group awards to top M/F in each division, 17 and under, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70+. Food and beverages provided for all registered participants. Race packets and T-shirts may be picked up on Race Day starting at 7:45 am at the registration tables located near the Folly Fishing Pier on Center Street. If no shirt size was marked, a large will be given. Race Day registration will be held at 8 a.m. Silent Auction will be held near registration table for duration of the event.
