Runway Run 5k – May 30, 2015 – Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport – Monroe NC

If you have never done a race on a real runway you should give it a try. They are mostly flat (however, many runways have a slight incline and reach a higher point midway and decline to the other end) and can have a tendency to be a bit breezy because of their open nature. Here’s a nice runway race just outside of Charlotte.

Join us at the Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport for a rare and exciting opportunity to run or walk on the runway! This has never been done before, come make history with us on May 30th for the 1st Annual Runway Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run.

All proceeds of this event will go to the nonprofit organization, Seedlings of Change to aid in their effort to provide clean drinking water for impoverished areas of Africa by means of LifeStraws©.
