FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

One of the oldest 5K races in the Triangle, the Run for the Roses (where all female 5K finishers receive a rose) offers a fun-filled afternoon for the family to raise money to benefit Canines for Service, an organization which trains service dogs for people with limited mobility and Team Red, White and Blue NC, an organization with the mission to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity.
