A nice pair of races for an important cause. This is the 3rd annual running of The Village 5k and 10k in Waxhaw.
FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS
The Alpha 1 Village Foundation exists to care for individuals afflicted with Alpha antitrypsin deficiency. The Foundation will increase awareness of the disease in the medical and public domains, provide educational, counseling and physical support for patients and ultimately provide a village facility for the treatment and relief of A1 sufferers.
