Oral Cancer Awareness 5k – February 7, 2015 – Springmaid Park – Baxter Village – Fort Mill SC

Oral Cancer Awareness 5k

The 2nd annual running of this race for an important cause.

The 2nd Annual Oral Cancer Foundation Run for Awareness 5k in Memory of Jeremy Blevins will take place on Saturday, February 7th, 2015 at Springmaid Park located at Baxter Village!

Jeremy lost his life in August 2013 to a very aggressive form of oral cancer. He was diagnosed in January 2013 and fought a short but courageous battle. Jeremy was a strong and healthy 42 year old. He was an amazing husband, father, friend, coach and every day runner – 7 years strong. He was taken from this wonderful life far too early by this cruel disease. Jeremy was a fighter whose determination continues to inspire so many. I am so thankful for the 25 years I was able to spend with him. My purpose now is to continue his fight, raise awareness and help weaken this awful disease. He fought to the end and never gave up, and this run is sure to be a wonderful tribute to his strength and courage. Thank you for joining with us to give oral cancer a voice!!
