A great pair of races in Spruce Pine for a very important cause. And CASH PRIZES for top three males and top three females.
FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS
The purpose of the Run For Holland 5K is to raise awareness in our community about Down Syndrome. Specifically, to raise awareness for parents who have had or are having a child born with a physical or mental disability. We want to show these parents that having a child with Down Syndrome or any other disability is not the end of the world, it is the beginning of a wonderfully different, more fulfilling world.
CASH PRIZES
The 5K and 10K races will have Cash Prizes For Overall 1-3 in both Male and Female Categories. 1st – $100, 2nd – $50, 3rd – $30 with custom Run For Holland medals for 2nd and third places as well as masters and age group winners (13 & under, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+)
