Joy to the World 5k – December 20, 2014 – Fletcher Park – Fletcher NC

A nice, flat, fast 5k at Fletcher Park starting at 10 AM. This group organized a New Year’s Day 5k last year and it was well-organized.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The race is produced by Trinity of Fairview. The course is an out and back layout including the greenway extension in Fletcher Park. Course Map will be available soon. Entry fee is $25 per runner which includes a long sleeve race t-shirt (guaranteed to first 100 registrants). Proceeds from the race will send our senior class of students to Nicaragua for a mission trip next summer. We want to bring ” joy to the world.” Runners are encouraged to wear Red, White and Green in honor of the Christmas season.

• Packet Pick-up on Friday @ Fleet Feet in Biltmore Park (10:00am until 7:00pm)
• 9:00 AM – Race Day Registration – $30; Runner Check-In
• 10:00 AM – 5k Race
• 10:45 AM – Awards Ceremony

Prizes will be given out to the Top 3 Male & Female Runners as well as Top 3 Male & Female Runners in the following Age Groups:

• 10 and under
• 11-14
• 15-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60 and over
