Veni Vidi Vici – 35 Miles | Two Days

This likes like a genuine ‘big adventure’ race in Pisgah National Forest.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Veni Vidi Vici
I came I saw I Conquered
The Carolina First Trail “Stage Race”

A single race of about 35 miles where the mileage is broken up over a 2 day period.

Day One

The first day you will travel approximately 20.5 miles. The route will take you up and down rugged mountain trails, through Pisgah’s remote back country, run by a working fish hatchery, and gain so much elevation that your head will literally be in the clouds. Your feet will be wet before you reach the finish line, guaranteed. End the day with stories from day one and refuel with your fellow competitors with a Pasta Dinner at the Cove Creek Group Camp.

Day Two

Rested? You better be. The day starts out where we left off and although the second day is
slightly shorter than the first, day two may be more demanding and more technical than day one. Plan on getting wet sooner rather than later on this second day. You’ll run beside waterfalls, challenge yourself on the rugged Daniel Ridge trail, take a jaunt down a remote forest service road, and end the race on a rooty, tight section of single track.

End the day back at Cove Creek, with a short awards ceremony. T-Shirts for all entrants. Finishers awards for all those that cross the finish line on day one and day two. Special prizes for top finishers.
