Waynesville Main Street Mile – August 22, 2014 – Waynesville NC

The very popular Friday night, super fast one mile race followed by a legendary post-race hootenanny. Last year there were 342 finishers (see results here) and 11 of those finished in under 5 minutes.

100% of the proceeds go the Shriners Hospitals for Children. The race is run in heats:

• 6:30 PM ( Age 0-11 Male and Female )
• 6:50 PM ( Female over 18 )
• 7:10 PM ( Age 12-18 male and female )
• 7:30 PM ( Age Male over 18 )
