Coon Dog Day 5k – July 5, 2014 – Saluda NC
Even if you’re running one of the Firecracker races on the 4th, you can make it a two-fer and do the Coon Dog Day 5k on Saturday.

The Coon Dog Day 5K run is part of the grand tradition of Saluda’s annual Coon Dog Day festival, which is now in its 50th proud year of existence. Join in the festivities with this fun and challenging run through historic downtown Saluda and the surrounding tree-lined streets we all know and love. The course begins with a gradual uphill climb and will include one water station along the route, water at the finish line, and plenty of beverages and refreshments once the race is over.
Jump start your morning with the 5K and spend the rest of the day enjoying the local food and craft vendors, live entertainment, hometown parade, and live coon hound events downtown!
Race Day Registration begins at 6:30 AM – no registrations will be accepted after 7:30 AM
