WNC Race Round Up for Memorial Day Weekend – May 23-26 2014

There are five options to choose from this weekend. This evening there’s the Rock 2 Rock Trail Race at Camp Rockmont in Black Mountain. Tough race with great views. On Saturday there is the White Squirrel 5k and 10k in Brevard, held in conjunction with the White Squirrel Festival. At Carrier Park on Saturday there is the Rise ‘n Shine 5k which features a pancake breakfast. At Jackson Park in Hendersonville on Saturday there is the Race for the World 5k. Finally, on Sunday at Carrier Park there is the Mountain Sports Festival Memorial Weekend Mile – a one miler. Plenty of options to do one race, or a two-fer or a three-fer. Go get em.
