Come join us for Woodfin’s First Annual “Read, wRite, & Run” 5K Race! Tell all your friends and family, and whether you are a beginner, intermediate runner, or a pro, it will be a fun time! The race begins and ends at Woodfin Elementary School, followed by awards.
There will be timing equipment with race numbers, awesome prizes & awards, & great sponsors, vendors, music, and food. Bring the kids out to this family friendly event!
Get involved with your community and help support Woodfin Elementary School, the Woodfin YMCA, and the North Buncombe Rotary Club!

Running in just my 2nd 5 K this year and 2nd since 1995, I scored a first place finish in my age category besting 3 other competitors. My last race April 12, The Fiddler 5 K I placed 2nd. My next race will be June 14th at the Friends of Earth Fare 5 K in Asheville.
