So, the vexation associated with the early hour dissipates rapidly upon passing through the Biltmore gates, as always. It was rather cooler than last year, and rather drizzly, but it was a chance to run Biltmore, which makes it all worthwhile to this Junior Correspondent.
The long slog up the approach road hill is rewarded by the run by the house. Then, a pass through the garden, then Bass Pond, then the Crossing of the Geese at The Lagoon…
Anyway, it’s Biltmore. I recommend it. The race was well organized and well run, and the cause is good.
