EVENT OVERVIEW

Warrior Dash is a fierce 5K running event that challenges and welcomes all athletic abilities. In 2014, there will be more than 50 events worldwide, in locations across the United States, Canada, Asia, Europe, Mexico, South America, and Australia. Participants at each location will enter the Battleground and conquer 12 obstacles over more than three miles of terrain. Participants earn their Warrior title by crossing the finish line.

This year, Warrior Dash brings the largest obstacle in its history, “Goliath”, along with newer and larger additions to the event, ensuring that the course and festival area offer exciting experiences for both first-time participants and seasoned Warriors. Elite athletes have the opportunity to compete in one of the competitive waves offered for their chance to qualify for the Warrior Dash World Championship, an event that will offer a $100,000 purse prize. The festival area will feature live music, along with the addition of new beer selections, contests and activities.

Warriors not only tackle obstacles along the course, they also run to make a difference. Warrior Dash is excited to continue its partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2014. The St. Jude Warriors program encourages Warrior Dash racers to fundraise for St. Jude. Warriors who raise over $300 for St. Jude will gain exclusive access to a VIP area on site complete with private showers, catering, and a private lounge. Since the beginning of the partnership, Warrior Dash organizers have helped raise more than $8.4 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
