FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Come out to support the Bascom Lamar Lunsford “Minstrel of Appalachia” Festival and the young Appalachian musicians in our community! The Fiddlin’ 5K Road Race will take off from the heart of Mars Hill University’s scenic campus, offering a hilly run through the Madison County countryside accompanied by traditional music of the region.

• 8:00-8:45 a.m.: Packet Pickup and On-site Registration on Mars Hill University Campus
• 9:00 a.m.: START: Fiddlin’ 5K
• 10:30 a.m.: Kids Dash on Upper Quad
• 10:45 a.m.: Awards Ceremony
• 11:30 p.m.: Event ends
• 9:00 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Enjoy music and treats on Upper Quad!
