The Blue Ridge Classic 6K Mountain Challenge is the only 6K around and the unique hybrid course is fun, scenic and challenging with numerous climbs and downhills on all kinds of surfaces. Start and finish on the rubberized track in Dalton Stadium, Olympics-style, and in between, run on grass fields, wooded trails and sections of roadway. Proceeds benefit Asheville area high school, middle school and Junior Olympics track & field and cross country programs!

The race is on the campus of AC Reynolds High School, 1 Rocket Drive, Asheville, NC 28803. Race starts at 8 AM. Asheville Track Club members receive a 25% discount. The code was sent to current members in the Asheville Track Club e-news on February 27, 2014. $25 includes refreshments, race T-shirt and entry wristbands to the Blue Ridge Classic Track Meet immediately following the 6K. Male & female age groups: 8-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Race awards include gift certificates to top area restaurants.
