Results of the Chilly Challenge 8k – February 22, 2014 – North Buncombe Middle School – Weaverville, NC

Who would have thought that we’d have bright sunshine and temperatures in the 60s for a race on February 22? That’s what we had in what I call the “Ch-Hilly Challenge.” It’s a challenge indeed with an uphill start and an uphill finish. But it was great, fun event with an interesting course and a local celebrity master of ceremonies – Jason Boyer from WLOS. And the big payoff was the chili from Luella’s Barbeque along with the chili in the chili cook-off competition.
