What do you know about the course? And just where exactly is the race ?
I don’t know anything about the course. It’s at the Cliffs at Walnut Cove which is a closed community so you can’t get in there unless you live there.

Can participants walk the 5k course? I am VERY new to running and not in great shape. I know I can’t run the course but would like to try walk/ jog the 5k course.
Virtually all 5k races are intended for participants of all abilities and this race is too. Jog/walk is just fine. Typically a 5k race in this area includes participants who are serious competitive runners and those who jog/walk for an hour or more.
