Hot Chocolate 10k – January 25, 2014 – Isaac Dickson School – Asheville, NC
|The Hot Chocolate 10k is the very popular and (mostly) flat 10k which starts off the Asheville running year. The weather in January is anyone’s guess. I’m surprised we’ve never been hit by a snowstorm on the day of the Hot Chocolate 10k.
The race features a very fast downhill start and the other end of that downhill start is the uphill finish. It’s a very well-organized race with a certified course and is capped at 1,100 runners.
Online registration is available at imAthlete. There is no race day registration for the 10k (there is race day registration for the 1K Kids Hill Climb and Marshmallow Dash). For more information, visit the race website.
