Results of the Thomas Wolfe 8k – October 19, 2013 – Asheville, NC

It was good fall weather for the Thomas Wolfe 8k this morning. Moderate temperatures and solid cloud cover kept things cool. I find the course quite pleasant with plenty of twists and turns through North Asheville, Montford, a cruise through Riverside Cemetery and the return journey into Downtown Asheville along Broadway. Live music, pizza and beer awaited making for quite a little hootenanny.

Thanks to the Asheville Track Club and all the volunteers who made this happen. A special thanks to Kelly Allen and Dolly McLean who work like crazy to make this such a great event.
