It was a bit surreal and dream-like for me, running in the dark for more than an hour. The new course was no surprise with much of the running done on three roads/streets: Kimberly Avenue, Lakeshore and Riverside. Turnout was a little less than last year (1280 finishers versus 1351) which was probably a function of runners running the full marathon rather than the half marathon.
Congratulations to Dan Kerr of Winston-Salem as first overall and first male. Congratulations to Caitlin Ranson of Charleston, SC as first female. Click here for age groups. Results courtesy of Right on Time Productions.
