I looked at their website http://www.hotterthanhaiti10k.com and the race course shown there is different. The map on the race website does not include any of the Hominy Creek trail. It includes less of Hominy Creek Road. It includes a loop through the French Broad River Park, which the map here does not.
So which course will we run?
I happen to be curious partly because there has been a tree down across the path that runs between Carrier Park and the FBR Park. About a week ago, it was still there. This tree was not flat on the ground. Some people chose to run around it and others chose to bend over and scoot under it.
I’m assuming it’s the course at their website. When I wrote this post I used the latest version I had available, so I’m not sure when it changed at their website. I just updated the blog post to reflect the version at the Hotter than Haiti website. I’ll be there for this one too!
