Brevard Firecracker 10k and 5k – July 4, 2013 – Brevard College – Brevard, NC

One of the many fine options among the collection of Western North Carolina races on the 4th of July. This pair starts and finishes at Brevard College and features nice residential courses. It’s the same pair of courses used for the White Squirrel Races (Memorial Day weekend). I ran the 10k Firecracker here last year (and did the 10k White Squirrel this year). I like the option of a 10k to get a little more distance in as an active way to start my 4th of July activities.
