Run for Kids Sake 5k – June 15, 2013 – Warren Wilson College – Swanannoa, NC

Run for Kids Sake 5k

This is part of the Asheville Track Club 2013 Grand Prix Series. Information from the race organizers:

The Course
The Warren Wilson College campus is consistently called one of the most beautiful in the country. The course is mostly flat, and the entire route is off public streets. The course traverses the central campus on the way to the College Farm. After passing scenic pastures, a single track trail along the creek leads you to the organic garden. The final leg includes a beautiful pond, some uphill single track and broad views of the Swannanoa mountain range. Although some of the run will have to take place on pavement, the majority will be on dirt. Because of the course terrain, no strollers or dogs are allowed in the run.
