Care Partners Spring Fling 5k – April 21, 2013 – Carrier Park – Asheville, NC

A Sunday afternoon race at Carrier Park. The race starts at 3 PM and the proceeds benefit the United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County. There is some stiff competition for this race – there are two other popular races on this weekend that are both part of the Asheville Track Club Grand Prix Series (the Morris Broadband DuPont Half Marathon on Saturday and the Falafel 5k on Sunday). So on the one hand, the turnout may be relatively small but on the other hand, if you choose to run this race you might do well.
