I’m guessing you’ll be able to get a donut or two after this Sunday afternoon event. Here’s information from the school:

America Runs on Dunkin’, and thanks to their sponsorship, now you can run on Asheville School’s campus! To celebrate longer days and warmer weather, Asheville School is hosting its first 5K race on Sunday, May 5 at 1:30 PM. This is a family friendly event and all are encouraged to participate.

All proceeds from the event will go to support financial aid for outstanding students in the Asheville area and to support Asheville School Cross Country and Track programs. The cost is $20 per person, and the first 300 runners will receive a T-shirt. Click here to register for this event. Additionally, Asheville School will host a one-mile Kids Fun Run for participants 10 and under free of charge.

“This is an amazing place to run, and we are excited to host our first-ever 5K for any and all interested runners who want to experience a family friendly run through the trails of Asheville School,” said Associate Head of School John Thorsen. “Come and join us for a great afternoon on May 5.”

Online registration is available at IMAthlete. For more information about the Asheville School, visit the school’s website.
