Healthy Kids Day 5k – April 13, 2013 – Marion, NC

A nice spring 5k in Marion for a good cause. Race information from the organizers:

The 1st Annual Corpening Memorial YMCA Healthy Kids Day 5k Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 8am. Day of Registration and Packet Pick Up begins at 7am on 4/13/13. Pre-Registration: $20 until March 22nd (pre-registrants are guaranteed a t-shirt) Late Registration: $25 until 7:30am race day Online registration ends on April 11th. You may still register at the YMCA up until 7:30am race day.

All proceeds raised from the event will benefit the YMCA’s Healthier Communities Campaign. The Healthier Communities Campaign provides financial assistance to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be a part of a healthier community through YMCA memberships and programs.
