Foot Rx Black Jack 5k – January 5, 2013 – Fletcher Park – Fletcher, NC

Come one, come all. A Foot Rx Black Jack 5k is for everyone – walkers, joggers, runners. Everyone has the same chance of winning because it’s not about speed it’s about the luck of the draw. You play a game of Black Jack with playing cards while covering a 5k distance at any speed. Jackpots are paid in Foot Rx gift certificates and it’s usually split between several winners, so come on out for some fun.

It doesn’t matter how fast you are.  Come out & take a chance at winning the jackpot!  This is for every one, walkers & joggers/runners alike.

• Registration: DAY OF RACE ONLY @ 8AM (End of Parking Area-Red Foot Rx Tent)!
• Race @ 9am
• Distance: 5k

How it works:
You’ll receive a playing card at registration, and a card at midway. You can take one more card at the finish if you so choose. The object is to hit 21. Number cards are worth their face value. Jacks, queens, & kings are worth 10, & aces can be used as 1 or 11.  The number of entries determines the jackpot, which will be given away in Foot Rx Gift Certificates.  If there are multiple winners, we will split the pot among the winners.  Your finishing place does not matter in this race, so go as fast or as slow as you like!
