Toys for Tots 5k – December 8, 2012 – Jackson Park – Hendersonville, NC

This looks like a very nice event organized by Henderson County Parks and Recreation. The race starts at 4 PM and you can pay $10 to register OR bring a toy valued at $10 or more instead. Here are more details from the race organizers:

Registration

The entry fee is one new toy valued at $10 or more. You can register online and agree that you will bring a toy to the race (there is no charge for doing it online and its faster than waiting in line the day of). You may also register at the Jackson Park office or onsite the day of.

Check In

All participants will need to check in before the race. Check in and onsite registration will begin at 3:30pm at Shelter 1 in Jackson Park.

The Course

The race will be ran throughout Jackson Park. It will start and finish at Shelter 1 in Jackson Park.

Awards

Awards will be given out immediately following the race. The top three adult male, adult female, Jr male and Jr female will receive awards.
