Hot Chocolate 10k – January 26, 2013 – Asheville, NC

The classic January race here in Asheville, back for its sixth running.  Mostly flat, with a fast downhill start and (what goes down must come up) an uphill finish.  The race is capped at 1,250 runners, registration is just $27.50 ($20 for runners 17 years old and under).

New features for 2013:

Partial Closed Course: To improve safety and provide a better running experience, the portion of the course between 12 Bones (where Riverside and Lyman intersect) and Amboy Rd (where we cross the bridge) will be closed to traffic during the event.

New Start Time: Because of the road closure and a new Asheville city bus timetable, we need to adjust the starting time of the 10K to 8:45 a.m. Please visit our website for more info.
